UAV Deployment • Atmospheric Telemetry • Experimental Payload
The Tamil Space Tech CanSat V1 prototype was deployed using a UAV to collect atmospheric telemetry during a controlled drop test.
The payload used a BME280 environmental sensor connected to an ESP32 microcontroller with onboard microSD data logging.
Atmospheric measurements collected during the CanSat V1 UAV drop test were compared with NASA MERRA-2 satellite atmospheric data for the same location (10.3836° N, 77.9539° E). The comparison validates the environmental sensing payload and demonstrates reliable atmospheric telemetry acquisition.
Temperature difference due to payload heating and direct sunlight exposure.
Local humidity variation measured by onboard BME280 sensor.
Pressure values show strong agreement with satellite observations.
